What is Safeguarding?

Everyone on our school premises has a duty of care towards the welfare and safety of our the children in our school. Safeguarding means:

  • Protecting children from abuse and maltreatment.
  • Preventing harm to children’s health or development.
  • Ensuring children grow up with provision of safe and effective care.
  • Taking action to enable all children and young people to have the best outcomes.

We’re here to help

  • You can talk to any adult in the school about anything, do not keep your concerns to yourself; nothing is too small or too big.
  • We are here to listen to you, if you have any concerns please contact us on 01227 738000 during school hours.
